Cornwall Hill College makes a difference
Thank you to everyone who generously donated soft toys and who participated in
Cornwall Hill College's Guinness World Record attempt that took place at our Carnival
on 1 October 2011. We exceeded our target and collected over 6,000 soft toys that will
go to enriching the lives of less fortunate children. Thank you to all the wonderful staff
at Cornwall Hill College for driving the project and for helping to make a difference.
The assessment of our Guinness World Record attempt is currently underway.

On behalf of the Parent's Association we would like to thank every supporter, sponsor, donator and helper that participated in our 2011 Carnival. The success of the Carnival is thanks to you and we are very grateful for your time, your input, your help, and your participation on the day. About		What we do		Why join?
The parents that serve on the Cornwall Hill College Parents' Association and its various sub-committees work in unison to improve the lives of all the children at Cornwall Hill College. The Parents' Association hosts fund raising events throughout the year. Monies raised are used to acquire additional services and facilities for the school to maximise each child's experience at Cornwall Hill College. Examples of such improvements Air-conditioning in classes ▪ Bicycle racks ▪ Swimming pool heating ▪ Pavilion shade ▪ Sound system ▪ Early warning lightning system ▪ And more…		Parents that participate in the Parents' Association perform all the support functions that are necessary to ensure the success of each fund raising event. Some of these include: •   Logistics •   Marketing, advertising and     sponsorships •   Fund collections •   Selling food and     refreshments •   Braaing or cooking •   Packing goodie bags •   Collecting prizes and     giveaways •   Event check-ins •   And more…		Become part of a team of people who give some of their time to help ensure the best schooling experience for our children. •   Your children appreciate your     involvement in their school •   Your activities help upgrade     the school's facilities •   Being involved teaches your     children about the importance     of teamwork •   Stay informed about what is     happening at the school •   Giving your time is incredibly     rewarding.
